THE CHALLENGE. To grow up to 30 people while maintaining the speed and flexibility of coworking.
Sometimes coworking is not the ideal solution for startups.
The same thing happened to Kabilio, the company led by José and Álex, dedicated to automating accounting and tax processes.
With a recently closed round and a team in full expansion, their challenge was clear: To grow to 30 people while maintaining the speed and flexibility of coworking, but with the privacy and customization of an office of their own.
They wanted a space that would keep up with their pace without complications or cost overruns.

THE SOLUTION: an office ready to grow
With that in mind, we got to work.
Thanks to our collaboration with NyN, one of the largest landlords in Barcelona, we found an office of more than 300 sqm in a regal building located in Muntaner street.
The space had two large open-plan rooms, perfect for separating the product and development team from the sales and support team, and with original brick partitions that took advantage of the natural light and provided meeting rooms already in place.
For Kabilio, this last point was decisive: like any startup that iterates and launches products at high speed, they needed several meeting spaces to think, test and move forward without friction.
STUDIO: design with head and startup pace
From our Studio, we got down to work so that they could enter on the agreed date, keeping costs under control and a careful look & feel.
We organized an open space for 18 people and another for 14, with 120×80 cm modular tables to facilitate the growth of the team.
We designed two formal meeting rooms for 8-10 people and two more informal ones, designed for quick conversations or video calls.
The furniture combined black structures, wooden tops and dark chairs, creating a tech, warm and professional atmosphere.
An indirect lighting finished the cozy touch without raising costs.
The result: a functional space, ready to grow and with the energy a startup needs to keep accelerating.
